Areas like Laguna Beach and Newport Beach had yet to be incorporated, and few people called the Pacific coast home. While much of that has changed, John carries on his family’s century-long legacy of extraordinary vision and market insight, with a nuanced understanding of every enclave and amenity.


Rachel Stanaland

Rachel Stanaland, DVM, was born and raised in South Orange County and grew up in San Clemente, giving her a deep understanding of the value and appeal of living and working here. She also has a diverse professional background that reflects her passion to help others – both people and pets.


Rachel graduated with honors from St. George’s University in 2013 as a doctor of veterinary medicine, and completed her clinical rotations at North Carolina State University. Her professional interests include small-animal general surgery and emergency and critical care. She also holds a degree in business administration from the University of Southern California, with an emphasis in real estate finance and a minor in law and public policy, and worked as a stock analyst for Investor’s Business Daily for several years. In addition, Rachel earned a real estate license and works with her husband, John Stanaland, for Villa Real Estate, and devotes her time between her two professional passions.
