Winter Fantasy at Sawdust Art & Craft Festival

Nothing says “Laguna Beach” quite like a unique piece of artwork. Lucky for you, you’ll find them in abundance at the Winter Fantasy. Happening now until December 18, you can visit the Sawdust Art & Craft Festival grounds to browse work by 175 artists. You’ll be transported to a winter wonderland complete with Santa, art classes and demonstrations, a petting zoo and much more. Whether you’re in the market for jewelry, clothing, ceramics, woodwork, photography, sculpture or textiles, you’ll find a one-of-kind gift sure to be treasured for a lifetime.

Hospitality Night

Hospitality Night is an annual Laguna Beach tradition, and this year it’s happening on Friday, December 2. Kick-off the holiday season downtown by enjoying musical entertainment, ice skating and Victorian carolers while browsing the many boutiques and shops. The event will take place from 5 to 10 p.m., with street closures beginning on Forest Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Come out and see your friends and neighbors while stocking up on unique gifts from all our wonderful village merchants.

Wonderland Christmas Boutique at Roger’s Gardens

Would you like to experience the magic of the holidays? Then head over to Roger’s Gardens in nearby Corona del Mar for their Winter Wonderland. 20 themed Christmas trees are adorned with ornaments and the store features a dizzying array of lovely trinkets from all over the world. Even the most eclectic shoppers are sure to find something unusual and amazing here.

Crystal Cove Holiday Bazaar

Would you like to entertain the kids while shopping? Then on Saturday, December 3, be sure to check out the 20th annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Bazaar. Located in the Historic District of Crystal Cove State Park, visitors can enjoy a Holiday Beach Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In addition, Santa arrives at 4 p.m. and the tree lighting will happen at 5:15 p.m. This is a fun event for the whole family, and complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be provided at The Beachcomber Café.

HIP District

As if all of this wasn’t enough, another way to get in some great holiday shopping is in Laguna Beach’s HIP District (Historic & Interesting Places). Reborn as a business district, this historic section of town offers 16 art galleries, 19 restaurants, several coffee shops and many boutiques featuring books, flowers, jewelry, apparel and more. While you’re there you can treat yourself to a massage or take a shopping respite at Brooks Street Beach.
