Celebrate Near Your Laguna Beach HomeIt’s a day of fun at the Laguna Art Museum for the children living in your Laguna Beach home! Bring your kids on Saturday, April 20th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and enjoy a day of art ans os much more at the Imagination Celebration: Full Steam Ahead. “STEAM” stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. This year’s event gives children who live in Laguna Beach opportunities to create interdisciplinary art projects.

Professional artists from Laguna Outreach for Community Arts (LOCA) will lead projects at stations throughout the museum. Children can also create hero art and stories for the My Hero Project, which seeks to educate and inspire by sharing the best of humanity. The projects will be uploaded to the My Hero project website for viewing. Many other activities will be available, including face painting, story time, the art detective game, a musical performance by the El Morro and Top of the World Elementary School's Honors Chorus, as well as much more.

It’s going to be a wonderful day for kids living in Laguna Beach. With so much inspiration in the air, the adults will probably find their creative juices flowing, too, so make a point to stop by!
