Generations of children who live in Laguna Beach (and beyond) have enjoyed the fantastical rhyming tales of Theodor Seuss Geisel, who wrote under the name of Dr. Seuss. If you have children living with you in your Laguna Beach home, The Cat in the Hat or Green Eggs and Ham are probably in heavy rotation in your picture book collection, making Seuss fans who live in Laguna Beach are in for an especially big treat this month
The Fingerhut Gallery will be showcasing Dr. Seuss’s “Hat’s Off Exhibit”, beginning May 17th and running until June 2nd. Round up all the Seuss fans you know and bring them to the Fingerhut Gallery at 210 Forest Avenue to enjoy Dr. Seuss’s rarely seen “Midnight Paintings” and his secret Hat Collection, which is practically unknown among American fans of Dr. Seuss
The special exhibition brings together these two rarely seen and never seen together collections in celebration of the 75th anniversary of The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins near Laguna Beach homes. For more information about this special event for the Seuss fans who live in Laguna Beach, call 949-376-6410 or visit the Fingerhut Gallery online. The gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
