Laguna Art Museum will host a lecture by Curator of Collections and California art expert, Janet Blake, on Landscape and Figuration from the Collection on Sunday, July 31st at 1 p.m. Blake will share details about California artists and art in the early to mid-twentieth century, showcasing works from the museum’s permanent collection. Many of the featured artists called Laguna Beach home. Although the lecture is only one day, the exhibit will display through October 9th. Laguna Art Museum lectures are free to Museum Members and guests with paid admission. The museum is open everyday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 307 Cliff Drive. Special summer hours are offered on Thursdays and Saturdays until 9 p.m. until September 5th, allowing for a special date night if you live in Laguna Beach.
