History Shared with those who lived in a Laguna Beach homeYou only have about one week left to take a trip down memory lane to see more than twenty-five years of Festival of the Arts posters and history. Perhaps you have lived in your Laguna Beach home since the pageant poster tradition started and remember these iconic images.  If not, however, you have until January 31st to view them in downtown Laguna Beach at the Wells Fargo building, located at 260 Ocean Avenue. A treat for those who live in Laguna Beach, the sight of the 2012 “Copernicus” poster by Jan Matejko or “Hanging Around” by Kirsten Whalen are sure to make you smile

You'll also find Tom Swimm’s 2010 “Splendido Evening,” Sandra Jones Campbell’s 2002 “Card Trick and Table Twelve,” and many others that have been chosen throughout the years, including the “Leaping Jaguar” poster by Marci Lyster in 1985. Favorite artists and familiar local scenes will warm your heart as you take one last peek at this year-long exhibit that will be coming to a close all too soon. Public viewing hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can find out more by calling 949.494.1145 or by clicking here.
