If you live in Laguna Beach and have for a long time, you may feel some nostalgia to see your city portrayed in a 25-year retrospective of the Festival of Arts' annual posters, which are now on display at the downtown Wells Fargo located at 260 Ocean Avenue in Laguna Beach. Many of the posters include paintings of landscapes you'll be familiar with and neighborhoods near your own Laguna Beach home. This exhibit has Laguna Beach residents, new and old, standing and gazing with wide eyes at the Laguna Beach we know and love, through the historic lens of each artist's specific perspective
Included in the display are the 2001 poster “Crystal Cove Cottages” by Michael Obermeyer, the 2005 poster by Mark Jacobucci called “Rockpile, Laguna Beach,” the 2006 poster “Casa La Vita” by Caroline Zimmermann and the 2009 Festival poster “Crystal Cove Surf” by Todd Kenyon, according to Exhibit curator Pat Sparkuhl. Come see for yourself the artists' renderings of your beautiful home town of Laguna Beach as it hangs on the walls of a local bank. The bank is open to the public Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information, please call 949.464.4203 or click here.
