If you want to celebrate the new year near your home in Laguna Beach, but also want to have an early night, you are in luck! Several favorite restaurants are kicking off 2012 East Coast style with a 9 p.m. celebration. Dinner and festivities will be offered on an east coast timeline at Sun Dried Tomato and their special New Years Eve menu is one you are sure to enjoy if you live in Laguna Beach! Despite their special holiday menu, Sundried Tomato will still allow to choose each item instead of offering a prix fix menu.

Appetizers start with your choice of Crispy Blackened Chicken Spring Rolls with Honey-Cilantro Pesto, Bacon-Wrapped Fresh Jumbo Scallops with Teriyaki Glaze, Black Mussels with Saffron Cream, Oven-Baked Artichoke, or their Mini “Rustic Jar” Combo and salads and soups will feature Butternut Squash and Caramelized Onion Soup, Signature Creamy Sundried Tomato Soup, Hearts of Romaine Caesar Salad, Blueberry and Asiago Salad, or a Chopped Salad. Entrees range from deliciously prepared shrimp, salmon and Chilean seabass to steak, chicken, lamb, and even a "pasta free" vegetarian lasagna. You can view their menu details here

Other local restaurants will be offering early festivities, as well. Call Romeo Cucina, Splashes at the Surf and Sand, Ti Amo Ristorante, Sapphire Restaurant, or 230 Forest to find out more about their menus.
