Laguna Beach Parent's Club events are a fantastic way to get to know other families near your home in Laguna Beach! This month's schedule features some exciting activities and can give you a sneak peek into what to expect if you join the parents' club. Tomorrow afternoon members of the club will be meeting for the a special Taekwondo studio event. Registered children ages 3 to 5.5 will learn basic skills in martial arts, from target kicking and punching to tug of war and Buddha pose. LBCC often hosts special events like this, making it THE place to be with your family when you're not at home in Laguna Beach!
Not all activities include children, however. Wednesday, September 5th is Bookclub and parents will be gathering to discuss "The Rock of Tanios" by Amin Maalouf from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Refreshments round out the evening, making it especially worthwhile!
On Sunday, September 16th at 3:30 p.m. and Monday, September 17th at 4:15 p.m., club families will be taking an adventure to the tide pools. The Laguna Beach Parent's Club will meet at the north Main Beach tide pools, in front of the lifeguard headquarters, next to the basketball courts. A Marine Protection Officer will even be on hand to guide the experience and provide a tide pool education for the group. Visit their the LBPC website to get more information about participating.
