It’s One Big Party In The OC!

It’s a party 125 years in the making! The Orange County Fair is celebrating its quasquicentennial this summer, and it’s shaping up to be “One Big Party.” Over a million people are expected to attend this 23-day event at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, which is happening now through August 16. It’s the perfect place for Laguna Beach homeowners to spend a relaxing and fun summer day. Here are the highlights and what you need to know to attend.

Special Events, Concerts and More

The OC Fair attracts big name acts to their stages, and this summer is no exception. The Steve Miller Band, Capital Cities, Three Dog Night, Jefferson Starship, Huey Lewis and the News and Pat Benatar are just some of the acts peforming in 2015.

If action sports are more your style, you can enjoy Monster Trucks, Extreme Rodeo, and, of course, several types of demolition derbies – including motor homes! There’s also a Cattle Drive, an ice skating rink, livestock auctions, community flag salutes and a 5K fun run.

Those into local wines will enjoy the courtyard wine seminars which include eight, one-ounce tastings, themed wine seminars and a commemorative OC Fair wine glass. Wines by the glass are also available.
