Several art displays are available for your viewing pleasure near your Laguna Beach home this Fall. At Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, located on the third floor at 260 Ocean Avenue, you can view the Festival of Arts "Potpourri" Exhibit which highlights the many artists showcased in the summer show beginning Tuesday, October 30th. A meet and greet with the artists will be that morning from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This exhibit is free to all ages and will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until December 6th, making it an easy place to drop in if you live in Laguna Beach
FOASOUTH has another option for you, as well, with their "THREE PRINTMAKERS" Exhibit, open now through December 15th, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and located at 1006 South Coast Highway. Dirk Hagner, Mariko Ishii, and Vinita Voogd are regular exhibitors at the Festival of Arts and will be displaying recent work alongside their beautifully executed prints featured in the Festival of Arts Permanent Art collection. These prints capture the unique properties of each piece by "transferring impressions, patterns, textures, and shapes from one object onto the surface of another" and are not to be missed. Combining intaglio, digital and reductive plate, collagraph with chine colle', woodblock techniques, the complexity of these prints is amazing and ultimately unique.
