The Laguna Art Museum is showcasing early twentieth-century modern artist Clarence Hinkle in "Modern Spirit and the Group of Eight" this month. Shown on the main floor of the museum, in the California Gallery, Hinkle's art uniquely captured several styles of art, from landscape and portrait, to still life. Beginning as an American impressionist painter and then later developing a more abstract and expressive style, Hinkle created all types of artwork, including watercolors from Hinkle's time as a California Water Color Society member. Don't miss out on your chance to see the work of this one-time Laguna Beach local near your Laguna Beach home as the exhibit will change on October 7th
