It's a gorgeous dream outside your Laguna Beach home this spring and after all your hard work, it's time you got out and did something good for yourself. Sometimes the best thing for your health and happiness is a physical challenge, and this month, live in Laguna Beach, the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park is waiting for you to step onto its trails and follow your bliss with a fitness hike at Willow. On Thursday, May 3rd from 8:30 to 10:30, you can enjoy vistas to raise your spirits and a pace that will raise your heart rate. A challenge for many, this fitness hike is a strenuous, fast-paced, 3.5-mile hike over steep and uneven terrain with a 400-ft. elevation gain
You'll be accompanied by Laguna Canyon Foundation volunteers at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, Willow Canyon Staging Area. Parking is $3 and a donation of $2 is recommended per person. The Laguna Canyon Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, enhancing and promoting the South Coast Wilderness area. Other activities offered in May include a peaceful, 1.5 mile walk to an oak tree at Laguna Coast Wilderness Park on May 1st where you will practice yoga stretches, breathing and relaxation exercises.
