The perfect place to find creative, amazing, and tasteful holiday gifts is right down the street from your Laguna Beach home! Starting this weekend, Saturday, November 17th and running each weekend through December 9th, the second annual Winter Fantasy will be open at the Sawdust Art Festival grounds. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., you'll be able to see exhibits and displays of more than 170 local artists. The search for original jewelry, unique clothing, one of a kind fused and blown glass, stunning ceramics, woodwork, and forged metals, amazing paintings and sculptures can all be found at this outdoor craft faire unlike any other. Many of the booths even have art you or your children can create themselves as gifts, making this a perfect way to start a family tradition if you live in Laguna Beach!
Live performances and demonstrations, photo opportunities, outdoor cafés, and the chance to visit with Santa add to the local fun. If you are able to make it on Saturday, you are in for an extra special treat as that is the night for the 12th Annual Community Tree Lighting. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Mayor Jane Egly and Sawdust President Gavin Heath will light up the sky with good cheer. In an effort to allow as many residents who live in Laguna Beach to come as possible, admission to the Winter Fantasy and tree lighting ceremony will be free after 3 p.m. Don't forget your identification and to dress warmly!
