Books Enrich Laguna Beach homesKids who live in Laguna Beach homes will love the summer reading program at Laguna Beach Public Library.  It's called Reading is Sooo Delicious.  Kids can discover the joys of reading and receive prizes for their efforts.  They can also enjoy fun programs at the library throughout the summer

On Tuesdays after dinner at Laguna Beach homes, head to the library at 6:30 p.m. for wonderful performances of beloved stories where favorite folk tales will come alive on stage.  Everyone in your family will enjoy these shows!  On July 2nd, animal lovers of all ages can meet zoo animals with The Wildlife Company.  The shows continue every Tuesday evening until July 30th.  The program will end with an ice cream social

Kids who live in Laguna Beach can come to the library to volunteer for Sunshine Readers, too.  High school volunteers from the National Charity League will read the best children's books.  After story time, kids can have a cookie and some juice and get stickers!  The program goes until August 14th

On Monday, July 8th, kids who live in Laguna Beach should come to the library at 7 p.m. dressed in their pajamas.  Bring a favorite stuffed animal for the Great Stuffed Animal Sleepover and Midnight Feast.  The Sunshine Readers will read stories, then the animals will spend the night at the library!  You'll get a report and a photograph of what your stuffed animal did at the library sleepover

Laguna Beach homes should be filled with kids enjoying library books this summer!  For the full schedule of summer events at the library, click here.  Visit the library's website for hours and directions.
