The Laguna Beach Music Festival sponsored by the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and Laguna Beach LIVE! will be celebrating its 11th year of performing February 5th through 10th. Tuesday night the party begins with the Opening Night Party at the Woman's Club, near your Laguna Beach home. Todo Mundo brings a combination of salsa, samba, and reggae and more for dancing, listening, and mentally transporting you into the far south. Tickets are $45 and food and drinks, including South American wines and empanadas will be sold at the event. Prior to the band playing, dance lessons will be offered from Sandor and Patissa, as well, an opportunity not to be missed if you live in Laguna Beach!
On Friday night, you can be transported to Buenos Aires, as Grammy Award composer Pablo Ziegler artfully blends jazz and tango on in a collection of American jazz and classical music with Latin folk traditions. The Pablo Ziegler Classical Tango Quartet will be featured on Sunday evening. Nearly all concerts are $30 to $45 for tickets, although five concerts will be offered at no fee at the following locations: Laguna College of Art & Design, Laguna Art Museum, Laguna Playhouse, Sage Hill School, and the SusiQ Senior Center.
