Laguna Beach has long been a favorite destination for artists, especially those specializing in the style of "en plein air," a French phrase which translates as “in the open air” and refers to painting out of doors. If you live in Laguna Beach, you know how easy it is to be transfixed by the natural wonders found near your home and have probably wished that you could capture that beauty on a canvas yourself, from time to time. Perhaps you enjoy viewing such artwork on the walls of your Laguna Beach home, as well. If that's the case, you won't want to miss out on the 14th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Public Art Show and Sale on Sunday, October 21st at the Laguna Art Museum from 10 a.m to 3 p.m
Art enthusiasts will also enjoy the Collectors’ Soiree on Saturday, October 20th from 6 to 10 p.m., too. If you prefer to view your artwork in progress, a Paint Out will be held at Crystal Cove State Park on Thursday, October 18th, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. and an Outdoor Artist Demonstration can be found on Friday, October 19th, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Heisler Park Amphitheater.
