If you live in Laguna Beach, chances are you’ve probably eaten at the Sorrento Grill, located downtown, in the Village, at 370 Glenneyre.  After twenty three years of serving residents with homes in Laguna Beach,  Sorrento Grill has announced it will be closing its doors and invites local diners to visit in the next few weeks to say goodbye.  Thursdays through Saturdays from 9 to 11 p.m. until the restaurant is closed, customers are invited to come grab a bite to eat (some items start at $3) and make a special toast with Sorrento’s own house red and white wine ($7) and micro brews ($4). On Wednesday, August 31st, this iconic restaurant will celebrate its “last Hurrah.” Customers are encouraged to return to the location this fall, though, as Chef Ryan Adams continues to create fabulous dishes for customers operating in the same location under the restaurant’s new name, The Common Table.
