Live in Laguna Beach and trying to figure out a way to celebrate life this Easter? Consider joining in the community sunrise service at Alta Laguna Park. Higher in elevation than you might expect, this beautiful park has gorgeous views of the ocean and town. Whether you choose to hike or drive to the park, you'll find it a fantastic way to watch the sun come up! Casual dress is recommended for the park
The Easter Sunrise service begins at 6:30 a.m. and is a combination of Native American spirituality and a celebration of the new day and life. Flutes and drums and a community of neighbors with homes in Laguna Beach will accompany you on this adventure, as well. Hosted by the Neighborhood Congregational Church, a more traditional service will also occur at 10 a.m. at 340 St. Ann’s Drive and be followed by an egg hunt for children on the church's playground at 11:15 a.m
