Laguna Home to wildlife hikesFor a morning of family fun near your Laguna home, join the Family Hike on Sunday, November 17th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.  The hike is hosted by the Laguna Canyon Foundation.  Join other families on this moderate two-mile hike.  It starts from Canyon View Park in Aliso Viejo.  The hike gains about 300 feet in elevation.  Wear good hiking shoes to go over the rocky and uneven terrain.  You’ll get to enjoy the beautiful and lush Wood Canyon.  Rick Schaffer, an OC Parks Resource specialist, will show you and your family the fascinating wildlife that live in Laguna

You may be more acquainted with the marine wildlife that lives near your Laguna home.  However, there are many creatures and beautiful plants that live on land as well.  Be sure to mark your calendar and join the family hike.  The hike is free, but you do need to register.  Click here to do so and to get directions to the hike’s starting place.  The Laguna Canyon Foundation is pleased to host this and other hikes and educational programs.  Support the work of the Foundation by making a donation or becoming a Friend of the Foundation.  Your contribution will help keep Laguna Canyon the pristine natural sanctuary it is near your Laguna home.
