This Friday, April 13th, the Laguna Beach Garden Club invites all who live in Laguna Beach to a special lecture entitled, "Growing and Using Culinary Herbs in Your Cuisine." Taught by Aenne Carver, well-known garden blogger of thethriftygardener.com, you can learn how a thrifty garden at your Laguna Beach home can support and add variety to your life. Ms. Carver will even show how you can make bath oil and perfume from your garden and explain how, besides increasing the taste of your meals, your garden can also provide benefits for the environment. The garden meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the lecture slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. There is no admission charge for first-time guests
You'll also have time to visit the outdoor "Garden Boutique" before and after the lecture where you will find great prices on donated gardening tools, books, and much more. The Laguna Beach Garden Club was founded over 80 years ago and is still going strong! This next meeting will be held at Tankersley Hall in the Presbyterian Church, located at 415 Forest Avenue.
