Earth Day is coming up and Crystal Park in Laguna Beach needs you! The California State Parks Foundation (CSPF) is hosting 36 events on Saturday, April 16 for volunteers throughout California to beautify local parks. If you live in Laguna Beach, you can join the 14th Annual Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup at Crystal Cove by checking-in at 8:30 a.m. The project will commence at 9 a.m. To check in, arrive at Crystal Cove’s Los Trancos parking lot, off of Pacific Coast Highway, at the Los Trancos stoplight. Laguna Beach home owners and friends are encouraged to come and help out, as 225 volunteers are needed.
Please bring your own gloves and hat, sunscreen, and water bottles.Volunteers will be removing ½ mile of rusty ranch fencing from along the coastal bluff and replacing it with thimble eye posts and cable.
